Looks nothing like a Flower class ship.. I still belive it to be a U.S. design

either a APD (high speed transport) or a destroyer convewrted to a seaplane tender

Anything that floats is a 'HMS Flower' to Frank.

You would think a Dutchman would know about ships since they are so close to requiring them. We can hope Frank does not 'remove his finger from the hole in the dyke'.

Nobody else wants to take a shot at this? Here's a hint, it saw service in WWI. In 1920, it was decommissioned in England.

I thought I was on the right track with the Brit seaplane tenders from WW1 that I named.

It's the Stuttgart, a German Stettin-class seaplane cruiser. Surrendered to the British after WWI.
