in this case a 109g2, 5k below you. You're in a Pony, a Spit, an La7, a P-38, or a Dora. You dive on the 109. The 109 turns.

Do you:

a) Run away
b) Engage WEP and run away
c) Run away toward the nearest friendly reinforcements
d) Jink as you run away
e) Run away toward friendly ack
f) Run away toward an enemy base and die in a straight-in augering blaze of ack-perforated glory.

Just looking to see what the most popular flying methods in the MA are. I think I've covered about all the usual options here.

I've been experiencing the same garbage. If an enemy fails to HO you, they continue to blow through and never look back.

This afternoon I noticed several instances of a lone enemy blow right by (after evading his HO, immelman, and getting on top of him) and attempt to HO the next two-three friendlies about 2-4k away from me.

If a 109, low or high, turns with my spit, I salivate. Thats assuming I haven't blown all my ammo missing another plane that shouldn't be turning with a spit.

Notice a lot of new names in the skies now-a-days? I think the noobs with the T.O.D. mentality are showing up a bit early, & they're afraid to blow their advantage and lose their ranks because of a fair fight.

I hardly ever fly in the MA anymore, but when I do I see a lot of this Tarmac. Tonight I was chasing a P51 in my Yak and he pulled me to a Tiffe buddy. When the Tiffie engaged he reversed. He got some pings on me and my oil was leaking, but before he could finish me, I killed the Tiffie and he turned and ran home again instead of finishing me.

BTW, good fights in the CT last night Tarmac. I know I should run from bad odds but I cant help it, when I see a red con and I start drooling like one of Pavlov's dogs.

z) Engage him... only to find out that his 15 cloacked LA7 buddies were waiting for me to get low. I end up lookingout the tower soon. Damn Klingons...
