I had far more "fun" playing Halo than the original "Half Life", played coop mod with my friend was a hell of alot of fun.

I use PC game for more strategic and thinking games.

I play console for pure fun.

Though I must say the differences are shrinking fast.

Dowding, I've played AH probably 3 times in 4 months....we've been in crunch mode since late summer.

You'll notice theres an old Zero on the beach - I thought a N12K reference would be lost on most people

My Dev machine has an ATI 9700pro.

Creamo there are 2 versions - one with DirectX9 and one without. The Larger one is 496mb.

One note about water though... is now they're just starting to reflect the environment.. something they haven't accomplished well is actually reflecting a Character.... your character to be exact..

you can see it here in this picture... the guy is literally above the water...

Only enviroment reflection is visible

I've not scene but pix from HL2 and some movies. It looks great.

(I hate scrolling at my 1280 screen res BTW)

If it's as good as Far Cry, great.

Make a Sub sim. (And stop with the bad scroll screens.)

You ought to have put a Nik in and made some kind of reference to AH! Do a Superfly/Natedog and get a subtle reference in the cockpit or something.

I'm downloading Far Cry now.

Do any of the old squad still play AH - would really like to catch up with Sno, Dawv, Sailor et al. Kron left AH or so my bro was telling me. Haven't played AH since October.

Haven't downloaded Far Cry yet - can only get 10k from that link you gave me. I'm determined to try it though.
