This whole story distresses the hell out of me. If that crappy security camera image of her is the last time anyone will see her alive, I honestly hope they do find some really creative, low-tech way to do him in.
Yes, it is important to protect the rights of the many, and to give people fair trials, but this has gone too far. There're several hundred lawyers at there, at this very moment, foaming at the mouth at the opportunity to defend this ****. To them it's not even the money so much as the free advertising. Maybe we should develope a law where in the event that a private-practicing attorney(IE, not public defender) loses such a case to overwhelming evidence, he or she could be subject to punishment for taking the case on in the first place. That would cut down on dream teams and in turn, free-walking OJs.
I've been planning on taking the LSATs this year. I still plan on it, but I'm seriously considering bringing an UZI to the test rather than a pencil.
