Okay To Creat a MA Map under 10 minutes.
Like this.
http://www.bushtech.com.au/chads/1.jpg

You need This a Hieght Map.
http://www.bushtech.com.au/chads/2.jpg

You need a gif image that you creat.
http://www.bushtech.com.au/chads/3.gif

end result you have A completly working, MA map give or take some parts like setting the zone master, adding in spawn points for gv.

I am finishing up the program right now that has taken me most of this weekend to do. But the advantages is that people can now, creat very accurate down to scale maps without needing to waste time. Instead more time can be given to field placement and strat layout than constantly clicking 14K times to achieve your goal.

If your unhappy with the heightmap, some may say. Dont worrie, you can creat your own, based on other heightmaps. Simple use photoshop, and the autolevel program to set all fields to 30K. Export the heightmap and you can clearly see all the field placement and blend them into your goal. Worried about leveling objects, the editor comes with an autolevel that has 4 settings for custom leveling your terrian.

Tell you when its finished.

Download the jar file if you have trouble with the exe not detecting your jvm.

To start it go into command prompt

Download the file to c drive

Start -> run-> type    command

cd c:
java -jar AutoLevel

That should work.

Dont you hate it when you do an advanced programing course at univercity and you know java inside out, but you have no idea how to give people your program without worrieing about if they can start it or not lol.

Okay i have made another zip file, smaller this time.
Has the jar file in it, and a bat file and the exe file.

So if you fail on the exe file you can just click on the bat file that should start up the program.

Now if it doesnt start you need to set your Path and ClassPath in your system enviroment. This should allready be set but alas if you need any help just give me a post here and i will try to help you out as much i can.

Btw a bat file is not a virus is simple the instructions to the computer though command prompt to start the program up.

bug one (a little one)

click on browser for the *.elv and in the open file dialog click on cancel.

in the gif to file dialog there is a typo : I don't know what a "vechile" field is ;)

in the level option dialog : typo again : Middle vertex "defualt"

Thanks straffo real help there.

I did throw in some error checking for those area, but had to refine them alittle bit just like you said.

Though the program will work even if problems like that poping up that is how good java is at catching exceptions and still going on and doing the job :). Still doesnt mean that some places need some good error protection.

The only thing left to do now for the program is to fix the Aceshigh objects class to fix some of the text formating to get it into the program. But mostly if you stick by using default groups your okay.

Here is the update.
