C.202 Overmodeled
« on: August 21, 2000, 08:14:00 AM »
What's up with this plane? I flew it a few times in MA last night and its crazy UFOish.

I am suddenly turning with ZEROS!!! and killing P47s with under 200 rounds each of my MGs. WHATS up with that? I also exploded a 205 with these peashooters!! are they APHE combined or what!?!?

It also dives very well, I caught up with a P47 that was on the deck when I dived from 20k! NOT right.

Hopefully this plane will be fixed, because right now its way too good.

Ahhh dont mind, eventually HTC modeled the famous HE 12,7mm Breda shell and changed the DB601a with a special MW50/GM-1 DB605 ...
"And one of the finest aircraft I ever flew was the Macchi C.205. Oh, beautiful. And here you had the perfect combination of italian styling and german engineering .... it really was a delight to fly ... and we did tests on it and were most impressed." - Captain Eric Brown

hehe

unfortunately our MG have not  been modified and in 1.04 we will not see change on 12.7 performance (asked at Hitech online)

I really hope to see some change on all MG models, but i think we must wait till Hurricane will come to AH (the 7.7mm version)

The film and the pictures of the ammunition arent enought and HTC will not change them.
(this is my fear   )
Probably we can try to rebuild a c202 and strafe HTC in Texas for the con

Hope to see some changes before WW2online become operative

PS: I'm a poor diplomatic dont belive me

The C.202 is totally overmodelled.  When attacking a base in my p-47.... I shudder in fear as that c.202 begins to roll.  Its time to get out of dodge.

I decided to try out a C.202 once... to show how uber it was.  I managed to put nearly 90% of my rounds into a P47 wing with pinpoint accuracy.  It was simply way too stable.  I landed, re-armed and put the same percentage into the same wing on the same p47 with the same accuracy.  This kind of accuracy simply cannot be possible in the arena.  It is uber.

Hehehe... classic Italian design.

It can break 200mph
It turns on a rail
It can't hold more than 2 of anything

I once tried the 202.  It's not too bad if all you want to do is target practice on the other guy.    (I wonder if a 202 has EVER killed a b17.)  I do it a lot in the p51, and even with 6 50s it takes a TON of ammo.

With the 202 you would almost have to catch a b17 pilot who was AFK grabbing a beer or something.

"The C.202 has 2 kills and has been killed 2 times against the B-17G."

 Hey!  It has a 1:1 K/D ratio
