Hello All --

You are cordially invited to drop by Zeno's Warbird Video Drive-In (http://www.zenoswarbirdvideos.com) and catch our latest free online World War II Aviation features, "FLAK" and  "The Army Air Force Report 1943"

"FLAK" is a fascinating World War II training film for pilots on the theory and practice of evading antiaircraft fire. ("FLAK" is a German acronym for Fliegerabwehrkanone = "Flyer Defense Cannon.") The specifications, capabilities, and targeting methods of a variety of German and Japanese AAA pieces are discussed as well as both high and low altitude evasions tactics. Well illustrated with charts, animations, and combat film.

The "AAF Report 1943" is Army Air Force Commanding General "Hap" Arnold's progress report  to the American people delivered via a sweeping and informative film. The formation and growth of the AAF's (as of 1943) fifteen regional "Air Forces" is detailed along with their individual missions and performance to date.

Although strategic in scope, this film is packed with combat and behind the scenes footage shot around the World from the 8th, 9th & 15th Air Forces in Europe to the 14th in China and many more. Features rare captured Luftwaffe film of attacks of heavy twin engine fighters on unescorted American bombers. This film is a valuable snapshot of the growth of American air power at a crucial time in World War II.

Other recent additions to the Drive -In are "Preflight Inspection of the B-24 being placed on permanent display and excerpts from a real B-26 Pilot's manual.

If you haven't stopped by Zeno's Drive-In before, we also feature 1942-45 vintage WWII Army & Navy films on how to fly the F4U, F6F, P-38, P-39, P-40, P-47, P-51, P-61, TBF/TBM, B-17, B-24, B-25, A-20, A-26, B-26, B-29, and more.We just added the SNJ/AT-6 "Harvard" trainer too.That's over 12 hours of rockin' props for free viewing over the internet.
