It's OK to hear voices in your head- heck, we all do- but when you start answering yourself, well, that's an indication of mental problems.

nice taste in music LOL  :aok

He is overrated.  You chastize others for butting into your post and then in turn insult someone else.  You the Pot or the Kettle.   He was good.  Vernon Reid would eat SRV for supper.   As for music, instead of hearing the "Voodoo Chile" retreads BOTH Vaughn's have done.  I prefer Pink Floyd, Queen, Zeppelin, Willie Dixon, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Cab Calloway and Jethro Tull.   Aside from only being 30 years old, yeah, SRV is a little overrated.  Sorry, if you can't listen to other's opinion, then c'est la vie.

Long live David Gilmour and Vernon Reid.

all good BANDS.....but nothing was OVER-RATED concerning SRV

Eric Clapton was driving home 1 day after a studio session....some1 gave him a recording of this new artist....Clapton put the tape in while driving home.....he actually stopped on the highway completely flabergasted by this new artist....

If Clapton says he's good....then he's good

I saw SRV from about 10 feet away.....first row seats.....and nothing was fake about his playing
