I'm an ex FO/WB. I still have an account with Warbirds. I haven't played since the free weekend. Thats when it sunk in that AH is far better of a game than WB. Challenge, Realizm,Planes and the fact that you don't have to find out what ip# your buds are on Wilco when you first sign on. This game is young and I think Far better than Warbirds. With the ideas from the staff and the customers this game will allways be better than Warbirds.

A couple of months ago I would have said yes.  At this point WB would have to be real cheap, like $5/month, for me to switch.  AH is a better flight sim, a better "game" (Main Arena), and the scenarios have caught up with WB.

At 24.95...no way. Its just not worth that much IMO. If it was say 9.95 I would probably go back and keep this account. I cant affoard or justify more than 40 a month for this kind of entertainment. I am worried when WW2 online comes out as I will most likely have to choose between it and AH. I want to play both damn it!

Never flown WB on-line.  So I don't know the differences in FE's and FM's.  Plane sets  #'s dont bother me.

Would only go there if I could take the entire AH community with me!!

Cause I love all you guys!!!  Oooooppppssss!  And gals!!!

I wouldn't go back to WB- basically because that wasn't where I was to begin with. Now DoA (Dawn of Aces) is another story...

...like Mighty1, my reason for leaving iEN was connect related, not with the program(s). Even if they gave the game(s) away it would not matter if I could not get into it(them) or stay in it once connected. BTW, DoA was only $9.95 per month, and I still couldn't justify that amount of money for a game that had horrible connect probs for the last 6 weeks of my time with them. And before any iEN defender pops in and says "it was your end, not iEN's", bear in mind that I was far from alone in my experience. I gave them 6 weeks to clear it up- a pretty long time for a short attention span guy like me.   By the end of that time I was so out of the habit of even thinking about that game I didn't care if it was fixed or not.

Came over from WB during this summer, & as I told somebody here one day: "came here for the price, stayed for the product". Eye candy has never really meant much to me compared to game play, but when you get both?! woo hoo!

Will I try it? Most of -=NightStalkers=- still hangs there, so yeah, I miss a lot of my squaddies. Switch over? Nope (well, lessee, but from what I've seen outta ien, prolly not. See they released a "new" ilz. Eesh, you'd think they'd have learned their lesson with "ilooz").

I'll try WW2OL too. But, like many others, I've got serious doubts about them being able to pull off what they've got in mind.

Hell, I practically expect to see HT there the 1st day, hehe. He likes to play with his toys & if the new kid down the block has got red & orange flames down the side of his bike, I can see HT wanting black, orange, red & yellow BADASS flames down the side of his the next day!

I left Warbirds before AH was even a concept.  There were no other options (AW3 just doesn't count) out there.  Basically, I chose not to fly as opposed to giving ImagicOnline my money.

New name.. same company.

Nah, going to stay here. I will give WBIII a try cause WB is where I came from, but as someone has already said, AH is more "fun".

I left WB's because of IENs lack of customer support and respect. Money was not the issue.
HTC has always provided the human element in their company policy and I respect them for that. As was brought out earlier, Im an old dog faithfull to the master

I came from AW and still fly there once a week with the old squad.  It's getting to the point now with boots and real high delays
that I may quit AW all together.  AW has promised an updaated game soon, AWME.  I will stay to see this game.

I have looked at WB in the past but per hr pricings easily made a no-go.  I flew DoA for a couple of months and liked it.  Just too few ppl flying when I flew.

I beleive AH is where the future of online WWII flight simming is for a long time!!

Going back to Warbirds would be like getting back with my ex-wife when I like the one I have now just fine (younger, sexier  hehe)!

Ever have those kinds of nightmares?  LOL..

I would go back, but only if there was an improvement in the FM's and Connect's. We know there will finally be visual improvements, but I left because of the FM's mainly. HTC has no competition at the moment. I'm curious about WWII Online, but I'm worried it's gonna be stuck in the BoB for quite sometime, and I'm not much a fan of the early war planeset for such an extended period of time. I would fly all 3, if the other 2 can offer what HTC does now

And I sure hope they put an effort back into DoA, I would for sure be back!

Rip..

I still at this time hold 2 accounts there, so going back is not an issue for me. I spend more time here because of variuos reasons. From FM to plane load outs to something as mundane as Panzer. AH rules as far as flying goes.

I have found my newest favorite plane ( Typhoon ). It has been given new life with 1.04. And im having a blast.

I will keep both my WB accounts till WB3 is released. Then i will most likely drop them for wwiionline. So in the end ill have an account with AH & wwiionline.

wwiionline for me will be Ships & Subs only.
Unless HT gives us a PT boat down the road
