What concerts have you been to?
« on: March 09, 2004, 03:53:00 PM »
Since someone started a top guitarists thread, I thought I'd start a thread so everyone can list all the concerts they've been to. Here's my list as best as I can remember.

Andy Williams with the Osmond family(ok, I was 11 or 12 and my parents took me)
Bread
Grand Funk w/Bloodrock
Three Dog Night
Chicago w/Osibisa
Jethrol Tull w/Yes
Humble Pie w/Montrose(a young Sammy Hagar playing lead)
Black Oak Arkansas w/Edgar Winter & Brownsville Station
Neil Young w/David Crosby & Linda Ronstadt
Eric Clapton w/Santana
Robin Trower
Slade
Rare Earth
James Gang
Tower of Power(3 times)
B.B. King(2 times)
Albert King
Robert Cray(so many times I lost count as we went to high school together)
Albert Collins
Blood, Sweat & Tears w/The Rascals
Frank Sinatra w/Shirley McClain
Tony Bennett
Chris Issac
Al Dimeola
Stevie Wonder w/Chaka Kahn
George Benson
Led Zepplin(2 times)
The Eagles
Paul Revere and the Raiders
Stevie Ray Vaughn(3 times)
Sam and Dave
Joe Cocker
Bonnie Rait
Rod Stewart w/Jeff Beck
John Mayhall
Buddy Miles
Blue Oyster Cult
Merrliee Rush
Sugarloaf
Buckwheat Zideco

Well, that's all I can remember for now.

True..to true.

The one that stand out is:
Led Zepplin:Stairway to Heaven tour.

Another memory...Sitting on Jim Dandy's bus (BOA) when it broke down in our little town of Forest Lake, Minn. Man that guy sure was ugly, but had some damn fine weed!

Don't like crowds or loud music but I did manage to see a few bands.

Nazereth
REO
John "Cougar" Mellencamp
Heart (only saw them cause Mellencamp was the warmup band)
Cheap Trick

Last band I saw was Cheap Trick while I was in the USAF. They played in a local bar called Roadies.
I have been reborn a new man!

Notice I never said a better man.
