Greetings !!
I use to play S.D.O.E.on line but lot and
lot of time I have been bootout to the desk top

(that game as is owne reputation made)hmmm

I am as so many wayting for B17-II and I was
feadup reading forums .D.O.E...E.A.W...and Combatsim forum.

One day I ask my good buddy SUNCHASER where
the heck he went because I couldn't read his post anymore then he told me about AcesHigh
and that is was free trial for two weeks (too bad for me that I could enjoy full two weeks cause soundcard problem fk..)

Exept for KALI ($20.00US/life
I never pay to play online so I dont know  all those places people are talking about here but I always bought a game and go with online server companys offer us.

For a couple of days I enjoyed myself very much here and the big majority of the poeple are very friendly and respectfull for others

I did not know that it could exist a place where you go on line and you can enjoy so much without having to BUY a game ( yes I know I dont go out oftenly ...not as young as befor

As Mc arthur said once "I'LL BE BACK" so will
I with the $40.00Can..untill B17-II arrived
then I'll see what it is best for me

PS: Something is for sure I have bookmark this place in my favorites and will always keep an eye on you guys&girls

In conclusion it was boring like hell so I decided to follow Sunchaser and come here !!

I was in the ACA and torque took a swipe at me. He overshot, and I got on his 6. Well it was a long chase and ended up in this arena. Im not one to give up on a kill.

I play AH because I see that Hitech, Pyro and other HTS guys do know exactly what are they doing and what are they going to do.

Why do I play and pay AH.
Watching the way the community and the attitude and abilities of HTC combine like a free market to get the flight models so competitive and accurate makes me want to see them all.....
I get more excitement out of a good knight of AH then I have gotten out of any stand alone game..
The Rooks I fly with are the best bunch of air geek friends a guy could want...If they left I would probably be gone in a month.
The Knights and Bishops I fight against are at least as good as the AI baddies where in SWOTL...
Kidding: the Bishops and knights have to be just as important..guys that I can often beat, guys that I am not shure every time and guys that usually beat me.
I used to think that I knew quite abit about WW2 Aircraft....Well compared to the girl at work beside me I do, but not here...I have learned so much more about one of my life long hobbies since I came here that I feel I started from scratch...
Plenty more to learn and looking forward to learing it.
Bring on the 38....

Starting w/AW DOS on GEnie (1990?) and on to WB then here.

Prefaced with the standard IMHO:

These aircraft have a better "feel" than the others; closer to actual flying.

Improved view system, including the zoom and cockpit head movement that lets you actually get some realistic aspect info before you engage.

Better gunnery/damage modeling.

...and as one Vietnam flyer said "You meet a better class of people in the vertical."

I have flown with the Musketeer Escadrille since the beta days of figher ace.  We always prided ourselves as the realistic boys within that sim, always taking the full realistic arena to the limit with no tags, and full cockpit enabled.  Then Microsoft started marketing to the generic flyers that wanted to compromise on realism.  It just wasnt a challenge anymore.  Now I take a look around AH and I see the great exodus from FA in cyber pilots who scream for realism and the guarenteed competition that WB and AW pilots create.  Hats off to everyone involved.

AWclassic was ruined by AW3.  It's an arcade game now.  AH is superior in just about every way.  The community here is small, but most are vets.  Great competition and great damage model.  Once the 38 gets here it should be complete

Abort, first: if you can't pay for AH - it's your problem.

You are telling lies here about "AH freehost." At least I hope it's a lie. Why? To start a new flame?

I am bored of being a Public Enemy, and I hope you understand that ANY issues with Russians here will be resent to me.

People like you are the real reason for russofobia in the West.

Also, please remove "25th IAP" from your signature.

Frankly prime reason was utter frustration and desillusion over the development in WB for at least the last year - no need to specify ;=)
I still have accounts at WB and still fly SL once a week - or at least when time permits. But the future looks bleak over there :=(

AH have inertia - things are actually happening. An old achilles heel of Pyro and HT -  lack of communication - are gone with the wind. And yes its true: people here *are* more friendly!

;=)

Why I fly AH...
Got a late start in life with all this computer"stuff".
When I 1st started flying AW a few yrs ago,
I was kinda in awe that the little speck
on the horizon was a real person somewhere
around this world.
Now to watch a Sim in progress by probably
the top Team in the business...and to still
be kilt by that guy in the little speck on
the horizon..dont get any better than this.
Sure have come along way from my 1st sim:
"1942 The Pacific Air War"
