Yeah, now that you mention it, I do remember them.

I thought it weird that they were waving a different flag than the usual white one...

And we more than made up for it in WW1.

Anyway they owe us:

WW2
Help In Vietnam
General Eurpean Protection In Cold War

Thats if you really wanna keep tabs on favors..

:)

Ill be happy as long as Bin Laden is caught. Its funny though how frogman (apparently an american guy) expressed definite prefferance that some foreign country rather than the USA caught the greatest mass murderer of US civilians. I know you dislike Bush, but man...

:lol The irony is killing me.

Regardless, I find the treatment of the French people childish and very ignorant. They have a right to have their own opinion and not be the butt of (rather cruel) jokes. It is true that the French were defeated sometimes in the 20th Century, but they did fight valiantly in almost all cases. The United States would not even be around today if the French government had not helped us. And if you manage to think a little further into France, you would see that they became a shadow of the world power they were before the 1920's. There were many victories previously, yet they are disregarded in order to childishly insult the French people.

Grunherz- We didn't win in Vietnam either, surprise, surprise.

Wait..you are giving credit to the French for ALMOST capturing Bin Laden.

Don't forget Sir Robin, the- not- quite- so- brave- as- Sir- Lancelot, who had nearly fought the Dragon of Angnor, who had nearly stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol, and who had personally wet himself at the Battle of Badon Hill...
