He mentioned the fact that the United States had facilitated Iraq’s WMD program during the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq and said that some of the weapons being downloaded are similar to those weapons, although international inspectors had announced Saddam Hussein’s Baath regime had destroyed all its WMD.

All they have to do is say it, and it automatically becomes true.

Man, I wish that worked for me.  :(

was the article saying we found them or we were unloading them to put them in Iraq? (as in planting evidence)

You guys that are laughing.. just you wait.  Tomorrow when they uncover Saddam's secret stash of Minuteman II missiles, you'll know this story wasn't fake.

It's a brilliant ploy.  That way, if anything is ever found, they can claim it was planted.

The U.S. invaded Iraq under the pretext that Iraq possessed a stockpile of weapons of mass destruction

That quote is maddening.  Can they not, or do they just not want to, understand why we went to Iraq?

We went not because Saddam HAD WMDs, we went because
he would not comply and confirm that he did NOT have them.  Is that too fine a line to draw?  Hell, it was pounded upon for 12 years in the World press!

Saddam lost his Country because his ego was too big for him to admit that he did not have the WMD.  How stupid is that?

We watch the same video and come to such different conclusions.  You, at least can chalk up your mis-understanding to a language barrier.  I, on the other hand, understand exactly what he said.

its just they're flat gonna hear whatever makes thier case...AND this goes for Republicans as well as Dems.

As a leaner to the Right...I heard nothing that made me think any different than the first time I heard it.....But then again..I agreed with it then to.

You Libs , and folks from across the pond that dislaike the present admistration so much...Yall are really gonna be hot if he wins.

And if the Dems. win it..then hold on..cause the other side will be bashing you just as much.

WMD's are someplace in that area...I think they were shipping em out while we were getting ready to wear em out. Thats my opinion tho.

No matter...Liz made a great point earlier. They had em..Violated sanctions..lead people to think they did..and brought a wrath down on there heads because they thought we would back down.

I am not going to believe anything from a Iranian news source.
