It's the pilot, not the stick!

I'm like Furball and WildThing - except that they're much better virtual pilots than I am. I just use a Saitek Cyborg 3D twisty. Can't be arsed with all that rudder pedal bollocks. Mine isn't even stuck to the desk - I have to hold it down with my left hand.

I've visited the homes of various virtual pilots. Some seem to get carried away, and have a wooden capsule that they sit in, with the stick and throttle mounted either side. I've never taken these sims that seriously.

Can you imagine having this in your living room?

I use a Saitek cyborg twisty.   As a lefty, I have few options.

Come on now Steve, I am a South Paw myself, and I had to adapt to the world of Right....:D

There is no reason you can't adapt too, just  might take you longer since you started out Left Hand style though. Where as I started with a Right Handed Stick from the beginning.

btw Leftys are always in the "Right State" of mind :rofl

After using Saitek Cyborg 3D USB Gold sticks for the last couple of years (maybe four?), when the rudder pot wiring died in my last one, I switched to a Saitek Cyborg EVO. I thought I wouldn't like it as much, but I like it better. I only used two of the Cyborg Gold sticks in that time.

I'm lefthanded as well, and it does make it a little harder to find easy to use sticks.

I have all USB CH Pro stuff.... mounted like the Pix Beetl put up .

How ever I am currently building a "Pod" with a Side entry door and canopy due to Wife complaining about me talking to the closet.......

Pod plans include Quad sound, Track IR , Forced Air and mounts for a Beer Keg and CO2 sys with a tap.   And a Stine holder for my Brew......

For size it is, approx 5.5 feet long by 50 inches in Dia with break down sides so I can get it through doorways.... skin is  3 layer 3/16 ply painted OD green.

will drop some pix soon, and am planing to bring it to the 04 Con in Grapevine.   Hmm Will need External beer tap on it too.........

Microsoft PP2 as well. I was upgrading to all CH stuff but funds have run low after getting the USB Pro Pedals.  I have a Cougar and CH analog Pro Pedals in the closet if anyone is intrested in a cool looking paperweight.
