To be a God-like, one would have to be flawless. There is no pilot out there without a weakness, no matter how miniscule that weakness is. Finding and exploiting those weaknesses is a sign of the highest piloting prowess.

A good pilot can and will shoot a dweeb like me down in a hot second. Some will make it relatively painless, others will revile in their own self-infatuation.
The pilot who would be called God-like also can and will shoot me down whenever he pleases, but he'll let me fly around in circles for awhile first, me using any desperate means of evasion possible, him remaining on my six like he's hooked with a tow rope, THEN shoot me down after a few minutes, and fly off, telling me I was hard to catch.
