The "good" pilot wins when he should most of the time and when he shouldnt some of the time.

The GOD like pilot wins when he should most of the time, when he shouldn't alot of the time and when he doesnt have an squealing chance almost ALL the time...

The good pilot gets you to say "wtg, nice kill"

the god-like one gets you to ask, "jesus! how'd he do that?"

I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.

To be a God-like, one would have to be flawless.  There is no pilot out there without a weakness, no matter how miniscule that weakness is.  Finding and exploiting those weaknesses is a sign of the highest piloting prowess.

Wait, that's just a bit too serious for me.

A good pilot can and will shoot a dweeb like me down in a hot second.  Some will make it relatively painless, others will revile in their own self-infatuation.
The pilot who would be called God-like also can and will shoot me down whenever he pleases, but he'll let me fly around in circles for awhile first, me using any desperate means of evasion possible, him remaining on my six like he's hooked with a tow rope, THEN shoot me down after a few minutes, and fly off, telling me I was hard to catch.

A good pilot knows when to disengage, a God-like pilot doesn't need to know.

A good pilot may turn the sea red with blood where a God like pilot turns the water into whine, walks across the sea and parts the waters for the GVs to get through all the while invoking manna to fall from the heavens (B17s).
After base capture he usualy feeds the troops with one fish. :D

A good pilot fights like a man and dies like a man...

a god pilot sends in his son to die for him...
