Its big buisness and I wouldnt put anything past big buisness.
Nobody stands to benefit more from crime then the police, right? Does that mean that the police steal stuff so they can stay in business?
Nobody stands to benefit from fire more then fire departments, does that mean that they burn down random buildings?
Nobody stands to benefit from terrorist attacks then the soldiers who get the funding to go in after them, does that mean that the US soldiers blow up cars loaded with fertilizer and ram planes into buildings?
I work for a company that makes antivirus products, and we have more then enough work to do just keeping up with the new worms and viruses out there every day. A life guard doesn't need to have his friends act as if they're drowning so he'll keep his job, why would you automatically assume that an A/V company WOULD?
