Is anyone else itchy right now, or is it just me.

Thanks for the nightmare's that will certainly follow....

BTW, for you fellow arachnophobes...do you know what spider has the most deadly venom to humans?

Daddy Long legs. The only reason they dont kill people is because their fangs are too small to bite us.

That's what I heard, anyway.

"No sir?"

"Saur, the enemy knows where we are now because you moved all the leaves out from underneath you."

"I saw a tick, sir."

Second time I saw an officer above O-3 try, unsuccessfully, not to laugh.

I was stationed at Quantico From 91 to 94 I never saw a tick... I saw millions of them...

The exchange:

Jam: Hey er sarge what kind of gay arse unit is this and why are all the NCO's putting on pantyhose.

Sarge: Pvt you and your wife are in for a big treat.

Jam: What the heck is going on and why is everyone laughing?

Sarge: Get some sleep Pvt you will see in the morning.

Morning came low crawling to an ambush site in a field of 2 foot tall grass. I swear they were everywhere by the millions. Wife was pulling ticks out of my arse for hours. Found 1 a week later.
Needless to say was wearing pantyhose the next time out...

I see Nielsen is hard at work to win the "most-anal-BBposter-of-the-year"-award this year too.

we had them in afganistan, i caught one and put it in a snuff can with some permeth thinking that it would kill him. 2 days later i was teaching some guys about the local critters and i opened the cope can and the damn thing was still alive. gave him a quick bath in lighter fluid and that did the trick. ive heard that when they bite you it can be treated but every year after the bite (to the day) you have to get it treated again. Fu&^ awhole lot of that.

Geesh, I don't care if that picture is real or not, just looking at it makes me want to crawl into a plastic bubble for the rest of my life.  I HATE spiders.  I shouldn't have opened this thread, my blood pressure is high enough as it is... *shudder*

The bastards used to bite THROUGH the BDU's on occassion.  They couldnt get to skin, but you had to admire the effort - couldnt stand the little ****ers.

Better than that, however, were the nightly 'collections' of those huge assed spiders that would set up shop every night in the squad bay windows...

Camel Spiders, Sun Spiders, Wind Scorpions... all the same... we have 'em here.

They're little miniature land sharks, absolutely voracious and completely fearless. Found one on my porch... he was about three inches long... he raised his legs and charged at me. Too funny...

Nuke the gawdam spiders. Blow them off the face of this planet striaght to spider hell. All the more reason.

In this position I'd be the guy baiting these suckers with a fat juicy camel in a tree with a box full of grenades and a sniper rifle blasting this insects to peices. I would be fighting a whole nother war I can say that right now.

Deploy the Terminex units to Iraq immedietly. If its not the freakin iraqis shooting our soldiers 3ft insects running their own operations biting our troops. Go to the terminex site to enlist:p

No ammo would go to waste my friend. Ill kill all those SOB's. If all else fails, ill grab a stick and finished what I started. A very large, large stick. More like a log. Nothing a few branches, a lil gasoline and a crazy man waving around this flaming branch could not take care of! *HA HA HA HA HA*
