If you could choose between 109G2, 109F4 or 190A5 what would you choose, and why.

Feel free to also add the historical aspect of these planes.


NB: And if you also fly FB, I still the same question who would you choose of teh above planes?

109f in AH - cause I fly it best

109g2 in FB cause it flies more like the 109f in AH than fb's 109f

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh that is a tough choice.

I love the 109f4, never liked the G2, and think the 190A5 is a hoot...

I stuck... Tho I think it would have to be the 109F4... Tough choices... Most will say the G2 and the A5 I feel... Just my prediction.;)

109g2.  Fast, climbs wonderfully, gunpods make it hit hard.  Only weak point is its high speed performance.  In a 1v1, I'd take a 109g2 over anything else.  

190a5 if I had lots of wingmen, and because it looks coolest.   :)

190A5, its handling is far superior to any 109 at hi speeds and has better firepower and visibility, it can also land with one wingtip gone. 109s are better for 1 vs 1 duels, but not for the MA.

Same as GODO for me.  I tend to forget I'm in a 109 when I'm flying one and try to do high speed passes or roll when going too fast.  When I do remember, I keep thinking to myself how I have to setup my passes differently from when I fly the 190s.  Chalk it up to inexpereince in the 109 series I guess.

F-4 for me for sure, but I also like the G-2 and the A-5 a lot. You really cant go wrong with any of the three, but the F-4 is just a sweet ride. Landed six kills (which is a lot for me) with the F-4 on Furball Island in Ozkansas 2 La7's, 1 P-38, 2 Spit IX's and a G-10. Dont fly FB so I cant say.

All around, I'd have to take the G-2.  If you fly it, do your self a favor and forget the pods, part of the G-2's charm is it's manueverability.  You just have to discipline yourself on the use of the ammo.  When you get close, It usually doesn't take a lot of rounds.  But you definitely don't have the ammo to do high deflection passing shots.  I seem to have pretty good success in the G-2 in large MA furballs.  I think everyone you see assumes you are in a G-10 and have trouble getting that shocked look off their face when they still see that 109 back there.  Plus, the accelleration of the G-2 with wep is great.

Only reason I would consider taking a5 is for the awesome ammo load.

Can't fly the f4 worth crap.  I can't make it turn like Eagler, it doesn't have the speed of the G-2, death trap for me.

190 A5 because it is a Focke Wulf 190, and because Kurt Tank was the greatest airplane designer of all times, he is my God and the Focke Wulf 190 is my religion.

Other then that, the 190 is the cruelest and toughest looking plane of all times and it had an exlent performance, great fun to fly in AH but also takes alot of skill to master.

The 109's are better for 1 on 1 fights and survivability IMO (better low speed performance) but the 190 is far meaner!

I like the G-6, but find it is not popular, do you know why?

Not in the above list but i'd fly the 190A-8....if i couldn't fly my hellcat that is :D...A-8 is a hoot to fly in...nice setup of guns for whatever yer heart desires....but that's just me.
