All around, I'd have to take the G-2. If you fly it, do your self a favor and forget the pods, part of the G-2's charm is it's manueverability. You just have to discipline yourself on the use of the ammo. When you get close, It usually doesn't take a lot of rounds. But you definitely don't have the ammo to do high deflection passing shots. I seem to have pretty good success in the G-2 in large MA furballs. I think everyone you see assumes you are in a G-10 and have trouble getting that shocked look off their face when they still see that 109 back there. Plus, the accelleration of the G-2 with wep is great.
Only reason I would consider taking a5 is for the awesome ammo load.
Can't fly the f4 worth crap. I can't make it turn like Eagler, it doesn't have the speed of the G-2, death trap for me.
