Another interesting issue would be terrorist action - if they feel that they could influence the political process by a massive attack in the USA between August and November I think they would attack.

How would the Americans feel about electing Bush if there was a serious attack just before election is the question.

I would say that there is a high probability of a terrorist attack between August and November in the USA and if there is such an attack that Bush will lose the November election.

I think an attack intended to influence our election against Bush would have an effect opposite that desired. Americans are a scrappy lot for the most part.

I have Eagler down for Bush.

Do I write you down for Kerry?

The most I could lose is $20.00? If that's so, then yes, put me down for Kerry.
At least I'll be a sport about this.:)

nash...if I  were in the early stages of recovery from drugs I would not be jumping feet first into every poilitical debate... you might want to concentrate on recovery for a while before you get all worked up about things as unimportant as politics...

OK, I'll commit now.

I'll give $20 to Kerry's campaign for every $20 bet for Bush to win here.

Hurry up guys, my quarterly contribution check is due to go out at the end of this month and I'm still allowed to give $1,250 more.
