Worth mentioning I thought, and since noone else has ...
Typical fps 28, lows to 20, highs 50.
Very playable, its that'll use henceforth.
Picture got better, the distorted tank indicators (AUX, RW, LW etc) now become clear.
Edit 'settings/video.cfg'.
O/c celeron 450 + Riva TNT.

I spurted "PC not a year old, time upgrade, dam HT" not entirely serious.
10 minutes later after takeoff, I met a P51 and a Spitfire in a remote corner I chosen to do my alt-dweeb thing.

Coincidence ? hmmmmmmmmm....

Heya scout,
I manually modified the settings/video file. Now I run @1600x1200, 16Bit color. Graphics are way much better than those ugly butt at 1024x768. Dunno why HTC doesnt explain clerly this feature in the readme (maybe I'm wrong, anyway). In ultra high-res graphics are very nice, even in this beta release.
Can someone explain me the high-res art that is goin to be released (maybe) this week?

Thanks for the tip,
Grifone

I flew a couple of quick sorties this morning in 1600x1200 and 1280x1024.

I was getting high teens fps at 1600, and a very flyable mid-20's at 1280, on a P2_400/TNT_1/128 megs RAM.

Gota love it...and those gauges look great.
