I'm a major JV fan, but in this case I think team chemestry had a lot to do with it and JV's piss-poor attitude was dragging the whole team down. Shedding Jacques was the only way for that team to move forward.

Yeah, but if they get Michelins one year earlier or he leaves one year later, he's on the podium all the time and all the attitude complaints magically vanish.  IMHO team chemistry and other "intangibles" are usually a result of winning, no the other way around.

True in Bar's case, but you could say williams despite winning races in last season, was not a completely happy ship despite the successes.

That's true.  Listening to their voice comms at Indy made it pretty clear.  :)
