would like to hear some feedback on the changes i am making.
I will start with the new map colors. default icons are better contrast with this and ez to read. (color blind people need to reply to this screenshot please)
no carriers will be removed yet. the problem with warps and lag points towards having too many objects (i had almost 30,000) the more objects there is the more the server chokes at prime time so i have cut back object count to 24000 which should make for good warp free fun while still keeping the cv fleets whole.
I removed the second carrier on 3 fleets in case it was a culprit in any wierdness.

also notice i have added some overwater spawn points from the 135 tank town to rabaul (a98 and a99) and to guadalcanal (A158)
the intention of this is to spread the places where fights occur more consistently to very interesting spots. basically instigating a fight by suspending disbelief that gvs did not travel over water but ships landed them on the island after traveling from the remote spawn.
ive done this only on the edges of the map where there is short water distances or island chains connecting landmasses. also this makes holding and defending these outlying tank towns more important because loosing them poses a greater threat than before when loosing them didnt matter.
also the 10k base is 6k now with a kickass gv tobaghan run that i sculpted out for some great air and ultimate dweebery.
the 12k base will also be 6k but havent figured out how to lower it because all surrounding terrain is very high up.
