WT, I agree that the views in the D pony are tons better than the B and thus enhance SA accordingly. I still was surprised by the way the B pony flew. I wouldn't say I was "blown away" but it seems to be noticeably more nimble.

I do know this, Skoorb, aka "succubus" was kicked off our squad a few weeks ago. I talked to 2Shad, whom Skoorb says "requested" him to post that, 2Shad has no idea what he's talking about.

2Shad's still on the squad and he's a good kid, the only teenager we fly with as far as I know.

There's certainly some revenge factor going on here, I'm pretty bummed out about the whole thing.

Do a Google search on the B/C models. That's where I found the info about Runstang (sorry, old habit) pilots preferring the B/C models after they were upgraded.

One of the reasons why I'm glad the 479th has a strict 21yrs or older requirement. None of this crap to deal with.

Our requirements are that the person be currently out of jail.

Probation or awaiting trial while out on bail is acceptable..

Actually I wasnt kicked from the squad I was kicked from the game for saying something stupid I'm sure (I dont really remember) No this isnt revenge, its called outing cheaters, and yes earlier today 2shad4U had some smart arse comment to say after I typed something on channel 1. I told him that I still had the email, he said that I was lying. So I simply told him that if he wishes I would post the email, he said go ahead b/c you are lying. Which leads us to here.

The P-51B is a significantly better handling aircraft than the P-51D, in my opinion.

It turns better, it is more stable at low speed. The D-stang has a much nicer view though.

As far as a B stang vs a D stang in a fight, I remember a while ago me and Wldthing used to fight in P-51s quite a bit. If it was D vs D, he'd own me probably 75% of the time. If I was in a B, and he was in a D, I'd win about 75% of the time. It makes a fairly big difference in a dogfight.

Of course, niether model is a Spitfire, and they don't really have the insta-kill firepower you'd need to fight the way I do... so I don't fly them.

How on earth does a guy having two accounts (and simply using it to vulch him self) impact on any body else in this game ?

I can see why a squad might want to remove a member who does this, but I can't see how it effects anyone else ?

This is why another games method of reporting kill is FAR superior, it names who killed who real time as they occur. There must be a sytem issue why HTC doesn't/can't do this, appears to be a "no brainer" otherwise.

I actually complimented Shane "once" a long time ago on his flying skills and he came back with his "cocky" attitude. He's been an occational target for some of my sarcasm when I see him text on the "all" channel. I'd love to get him on a pool table and see how cocky he'd get then.

It used to be this way. It just got to the point where the system kill messages over powered all other channels. 400 players each getting about 5 kills per hour (for arguements sake) equals 2000 messages per hour or 33.3 per minute.

...maybe we need a seperate kill window that we could choose to have open or not??

Yeah succubus (skoorb) was kicked out. And I think that the line under his name says it all now. Whatever led him and Chad to get into it, who knows, but this was retaliatory.

I post on here a lot, I fly with a lot of you guys, I hope none of you think I'm full of BS on things. It really sucks this happened to the Fokkers, but we've got 29 people on our squad and at least 25 of them had no idea this was going on. *edit - Well, I guess people did get that email, but most said huh? and forgot about it.* I certainly did not know it was going on. At any rate this was ended some time ago and will not return again.

Thw worst part of it all was the pm's and communications from players saying that they would have never expected this from the Fokker squad and how disappointing it was. Yeah, I agree totallyand I think everybody has regrets for this incident.
