Kill Streak.... hmmm.

You mean the streak I leave on the ground when I plow into it in a big fireball?

Popeye:

I think funked has it right.  A good way of measuring streaks is to model it on a real pilot's career.

As far as the:

Ditch (no capture) = ?
Bail (no capture) = ?

issues....  Well in the real world that pilot would have been flying again  .

Of course what we are talking about is just DATA.  Tracking this stuff is trivial on the computer so iEN could in fact keep track of 4 or 5 different kinds of streaks.  Funked's could be called the "historical streak".  Another type could be a "RTB streak" which only held as long as you successfully landed each mission.  It should be real easy to add this stuff to the scoring pages.  There really isn't any reason NOT to track several different type of streaks, or scores (jabo scores for example) so that the player's could switch between trying to maximize k/d one tour, to jabo score next tour, to RTB streak next tour etc....

And shouldn't somebody be out there killing Citabria, so the rest of us don't have to face up to what pathetic losers we really are? :P

One major flaw in AH is the streak system. If you logout...Ur streak is gone.....Why?

Did Galland get 101 kills in one day? I dont think so.

So why not carry the streaks on until you actually are captured or killed online, whether that be over 1 hour or 1 week?

IMO the score system, or the displayed kill system is porked and not realistic wotsoever.

Hi

Yes thats a great idea, kill streaks should be kept mission after mission even if you dont rearm/refuel on the pad. HTC can this be implemented?

thanks GRUNHERZ
