i know batz but last time i looked i couldnt find any a-8s with that skin but it is out there im just tryin to show u what im tryin to make it look like. well i just looked at slapshots URL thanks. batz look at that page theres the A-8 with the camo that im tryin to do.

Thats why I asked what group/staffel so I could help you. As I said I have never seen an a8 in those colors...

What image are you working from? Is it in a book?

I found that also TK. They appear to be built yellow. HT may be able to better describe it, but it seems they have the actual model parts constructed in yellow. I was unable to map the (they are somewhere on the 190a8 bitmap). Even when you paint it all one colour, the yellow seems to be peaking out from underneath. I guess A8 skins without a yellow tail will not happen unless they change the model abit to accomodate paint on the tail. I don't know if they can simply rebuild those parts and add a seperate bitmap for them or not. Might be a little complex but it would be nice to be able to paint those parts.

HT or Pyro, any comments/suggestions?

I was also able to build a 2048x2048 skin, leave it t hat size and use it on the A8. Offline we can do that but anything for the MA has to be 1024x1024 correct?

Yes main must be 1024 x 1024 @ 256/8 bit...

Search the forum here fester (Citabria) posted a link to a program called "bright".

It will reduce a bmp image to 256 / 8 bit colors without the pixilation normally seen when reducing colors in psd or psp.

The yellow marking on the A8 can’t be changed. One the A5 it’s located on the upper right by the mg bulges. It was left out on the a8.

I am doing Nowotny's A5 (>). I did a rivet line template from scratch.

I have nose art for JG1, when you get done pop me an email I will send it to you...

OK IM FINALLY DONE after about 17 hours of workin on it and messing up twice so i lost about 4 hous on redoing it iv finneshed let me know what yall think
