The tragedies of war... (picture)

This is an old picture from when HTC gave us sunsets and tanks (I finally can post pictures ).

Our country had lost a lot of territory, and enemy vehicle bases were within range of our strategic targets.  I had just been a part of a successful attack on one such vehicle base, and was flying the C-47 home.  The flight home took me over our city.  I was feeling positive about the capture, but my heart sank upon seeing what was left of the city...tanks had gutted it...

Fine work HTC!
