Fender American Standard Strat (my main guitar)
Mexican built Fender Telecaster
Fernandez Limited Edition (looks like a charvel with 24 frets)
Fender P-bass
Washburn steel string acoustic
Gremlin nylon classical

I've played everything from country to death metal and all points in between.  My favorites are still early Metallica, SRV, and Slayer.

Hammer Special(P90's)

Frankenstrat(squire neck/unknown body)..with 3 Semours(Alnico 2 Pro(neck),Little 59(middle),JB Jr (bridge)...Have Roland guitar synth pickup next to bridge.

Sweeet!
I just put in a set of Van Zandt Pick Up's saturday.
Man they sound soooo much richer fuller deeper hell you name it than my Texas Specials.

You should give em a shot.
He Is the dude that built the PU's for SRV's #1 so the story goes.

I am using a Blues Junior in the house right now I cant imagine anything bigger than it's 15w of tube power.

LOL my ears sometimes ring too much as It Is LOL.

But I would like a super reverbe I think thats the one that fender is making now with the Diaz mode and point to point wiring Big Bucks though.

Well that would just about exclude all the Blues greats then.

Guys like Albert King ' Buddy Guy; BB King; Muddy  Waters Eric Clapton and most Rock greats including David Gilmour Robin Trower Jimi Hendrix and so on as Rock Guitar Is Based off of  the Blues guitar.

LOL and you don't get all the grammy's  and induction into the rock and roll hall of fame buy simply playing pentatonic scales .

SRV re invinted the Blues for white America  and thats sayng something.

Yes I know my music history and scales. But SRV just doesn't do it for me, sorry.

I wouldn't group SRV with the legends you typed. SRV I would group with ZZTop or somebody in the vein. It's just my opinion tainted by playing I guess.

I actually started out on Ventures and Marty Robbins songs if you believe it. The 1st song that hooked me playing was "Walk Don't Run" back in the day.

Check out some of my fav guitarist, there's more than blues licks out there. That's whats awesome about music.

How long have you been playing?
