Has anyone had any "near death" experiences? I haven't, but am curious about those that have.

;)

Yeppers.
In 1975 a friend and I had a head on on our dirt bikes.
We were both doing approx 45-50 mph
Broke my friends femur and wrist
Blew out my left acl and broke my breast bone.
Any way i remember dreaming and looking down at me and chris lying in the sand side by side him to my left.

I was floating about 10 ft above all of this.
No bright lights or anything like that just a dream like state very peacefull and warm.

Any way the next thing I know I am being asked by this cop standing over me If i wanted a ciggarett of all things.
Well  i was lying in the sand and chris was lying to my left exactly as I saw it in my "dream" .
Only It was not a dream as I was unconcieuse so i must have been close to going all the way out or something.

I never saw God  nor did I hear any voices.
I just felt very comfortable.

closest ive come to death was about 10 meters from a highway(with no shoulder) HO with a ford...mother foolishly tried passing a semi nearing the top of the hill...hit the crest and all together to close was the truck...semi and truck slowed down mom sped up and slipped back in front of the semi with less than 10 meters to spare...

I drowned once, was drunk and swimming at 2am at the beach.  I guess I passed out, one of my buds dragged me out and a lifeguard happened to be jogging on the beach - saved me

having seawater in your lungs is not pleasant but it was my own dumb bellybutton fault.

You were shot at and had a weapon pulled on you?  Wow, I would have messed my drawers for sure if that had happened to me.  What did you do?  I hope nobody got hurt in this episode.

My closest call with death came when Stinky Pete (well, that's what my friends and I call him), the homeless guy that haunts the 7-11 down the corner from me stuck me with a needle.  It didn't hurt too much, but I was scared ****less for about 2 years afterwards.  Didn't know if he had some crazy disease like AIDS or Hep C that would kill me.

Not to mention all the deaths he's experienced here on this very BB.  They must count for something.

Ahhh another satisfied customer.  it sure is nice to see hooked on phonics really does work.  congratulations.  please post your scores from your upcoming spelling bee.  I'll be rooting for you.

Oh and since you're no longer Mr. Black are you still going to assault Arlo at the Con?

Would that also count as a near death experience when Arlo shoves his size 26 up your chute?
