thats dweeby gotta land on the runway or it dont count.
Though I am glad i can slide in and have it count, FA counted that as crash/kill.

HTC drew the line for a successful vs failed landing. I imagine it sucks not to make it but that's the way it goes and it's really poor form to whine about not making the cut. Try better next time.

Well to stir the pot some... There were definately a lot of airfields used in WWII that were nothing more than fields of grass. I'm talking about unimproved. Take a look at a lot of the RAF forward response fields used during the BoB. Yes you can land an an "unimproved" Vehicle Hanger and get a sucessful land so why not anywhere on the actual airfield?

For that matter, we should have stukas available a vh bases, they were forward deployed and used unimproved fields.

also allow m3 refueling of such aircraft that could/were rearmed away from an airfield (like stuka)

cant have stukas forward enable cause then you have stukadweebs with portions of the Stuka Lied in their sigs going A2A and killing all the VH attackers. Whining ensues
