Currently it tops out at about 5km.. maybe 6km, where from you'll see them barely with good binocs.
Shouldn't be too hard to see a bomber up in the sky from +6km


Actually although AH2 needs a bit of fine tuning in the ground, the complexity is not vastly difference.

At 6km altitude even the ground directly under you begins to disappear the visual rendering  range is so limited in WW2OL.

and in breaking news the latest WW2OL patch series the Hurricane Mk1 outrunning and outclimbing 109E4's.

LMAO cause we all know those hurris were soo uber in BoB... those carpy 109's were just .303 fodder.
