Yes.

Read the 5000 posts about how you need a hardware T&L video card.

TO play you need a video card that says either

nVidia GeForce

or

ATI Radeon

Go to START -> RUN -> type DXDIAG and hit enter

Look under the DISPLAY tab for your video card type.

If it is not GeForce or Radeon, you can't play.

Unfortunately, that means your card won't run it and the only remedy is a diffferent graphics card. Are you using an Intel card?

Well that's good news then. You must have some pretty old drivers. Updating your drivers should fix you right up.

Ok, cool. I havent touched any games/sims for ages so have'nt updated my drivers in a loooong time, i'll go do that now
