AH2 has not been released 24 hours yet and I have already
read several threats to leave the game. Ah1 was not perfect in earlier times and HTC staff corrected everything they could as time went along. There are things I don't like in AH2 but I know they will be corrected or adjusted as time goes by. Give the staff a break and voice your complaints and the bugs you see without all the whining and threats.

Let them keep that mind set. Most of them know nothing about programing , modeling ect. and expect everything to be absolutley perfect. Considering it just came out of beta phase people should know that there are still going to be updates and such. Some people are just never pleased:)

if my business released a piece of software from beta that worked like this then the vast majority of my customers would be pleased.

When a piece of software is bug free ........   it's out of date

It's a simple problem, and mostly is unrelated to the bugs.

One day you're a good pilot, racking up easy kills.  You get used to it, you get used to not dying.  The next day you're no longer able to hit anything, you die repeatedly for stupid reasons, to people who already know how to deal with the new system.

It can be terribly frustrating when "I'm a good pilot" becomes too much a part of your gameplay, and suddenly the people who took the time to play the beta have a huge advantage over you.

The smart guys have spent the last month in the beta learning how to deal with the changes.

The ones who spent the last month in the main all of a sudden have no clue on how to compete.

Geee imagine that.

AH2 is in many respects a whole new game from the ground up. You didn't learn to fly ah1 in a day did you?

So give AH2 a month or 2, or 3.

TA is up & running with some cool new settings. We have trainers available, and lots of people who realise that they have lots to learn again.

If your having problems, come join us.

Couldn't have said it better myself, every program/game/product is in one way or another an open beta. It wil always be getting updated patches to fix things.

how many times have you all had to put a new patch in for XP, winme, win2000, etc...get the message?

and as Ghosth said, it is like flying Relaxed arcade type flying and switching suddenly to a more indepth flight model that most are not use to anything like it.

hang in there take your bumps and bruises you will come around soon and love it!;)

LTARprts, can you enlighten us on your knowledge of coding, game programming, building, production. So we can make an adequate assement on your ability to know if a game is ready for release or not, and how you know that AH is 1/2 done.
I would love to be able to have this knowledge. please share please!:D

The only thing you stubborn people are accomplishing is making yourselves look very bad toward the rest of the community here when you post messages like this.  Get onboard and be a teamplayer, help out don't be so negative. Negativity breaks the AH community down

It's a game full done with very minute bugs in existence. Unfortunately, like Innom said and I agree, rarely any of the real complaints are about bugs that exist.

The only thing that's half done is their understanding about AH2 that it is different from AH1.

So your saying that because im not a programmer i dont know when a product is ready for the public use?
Then along that line of thought lets say you go buy a game from your local store and only some of it works would you return it or just keep it and say well the next update will fix it i'd bet you would take it back that day and wonder why it was released before it was ready. Then again as HTC will tell you almost every time the problem is not on their end its the lag

So, what is it in AH2 that's not for 'public use' ?
