First Aces High Movie Released ! ! !

Hi all.

You may or may not know that I have been making 'movies' from Warbirds (the game), for about 8 months now.

I film edit and produce a story from my footage.

A week ago, I started to fly offline, testing enhancements to the 'feel' of Aces High v.44  

A while ago, I had heard that clouds built up over a period of time. So I thought it  was about time to fly around and wait and see.

To say I was in awe is an understatement! I have never ever seen such a beautiful enhancement to a game than Aces High clouds.

I chatted a little to PYRO last week about how I thought, in my opinion, that it is the small touches which make a game special.

It can be hard to explain oneself in a chat buffer and I began to think... "Can I show people what I like about new and original 'Aces High' features.

The result of my ponderings is this new movie called 'clouds'

Very nice Brendo. I can't play the game at work (no graphics card) but i can watch your movies. Give us the names of the music. I recognize "Braveheart" and the latin sounding one. Thanks

To be able to edit film footage is one of the features I hope to have in AH.  I'm curious about the final version.  HTC, do you plan to have an edit feature built into the film option?  By this I mean the ability to place outside camera positions to see fights develop from different perspectives (including a freestanding camera option) and to record those camera angles so that the finished product plays as a movie.

What's the plan, if any?

All I can say is, "Thanks!"  Watching "Clouds" nearly brought a tear to my eye.  
Very good job, I can't wait to d/l the others and watch them.  They are also quite useful, as now I can show people who don't have AH yet exactly why I am so hooked.. they can see first hand, without having to be at my computer looking over my shoulder.  I agree totally about the clouds too.. sometimes I get distracted on my way to an objective, simply cavorting around in the clouds, checking all my views and enjoying the sights.  HTC has really hit the nail on the head with this feature, among many others.  Brendo, and HTC, keep up the good work!

hehehe... Brendo, you used the musical score from "Memphis Belle" for "Clouds", right? BTW nice clip - a little short perhaps. I really like your "I fly because I must" - clip, it's so dramatic and cineastic...

 WOW!!!  You have come a long way man.  You better watch out or you'll be working in Hollywood before too long. I don't know what the music is, but it's got to be from a Spielberg movie.
