Typical goon flight.
Heard a couple people ask for troops.
Had to take off 2 /12 sectors away because no troops at nearest base. (Hope rooks can keep their attention span long enough this time)
Should I announce it on country? No, could be spies.
( I'll probably get within 2 miles and someone else who was afraid to to announce it will drop ahead of me.)
2 sectors away.
No squad mates there so I can't get any kind of report. (hmm, there is a ton of rooks there, why is that red bar getting bigger?. (These trees are just great, who put these here?)
Try to tell passing friendly to let them know goon is comming in. (3rd guy finaly ackowladges)
1 sector away.
Where did that guy come from??!! I don't think he sees me, he's climbing.) '"Anyone know how the city is at xx?" No answer.
Almost there
"I got troops here, city in sight, how does it look"? reply: " I think there are some buildings up maybe a gv or 2 there" (Why did you guys ask for a goon for?) "Could someone check?"
Minutes later:
Rook:"Ok bring the troop in" "Ok, on the way"
(I see dots out there to east, no friendly on dar.
Why is everyone at the base?) Rooks: "yak upping" "Kill him! I got troops here" ( yak still comming, 10 guys on him, still comming, wth)
(OK they got him, dropping troops, don't blow it or you'll be the biggest idiot) " Troops out"
"wtg" ( go troops go) "building up!, get it". "we got it , wtg ply" "wtg guys good job"
See, not boring at all. Far more interaction with your country mates than trynig to get the next kill or dropping the troops at the base. (wtg jabo ace, now we have to fly even further next time)
Goon flying and capture is almost totaly depenent on your country mates. When you get to the city the goon is the most important plane there and almost everyone is working together to get you in. For a few minutes you belong to a new squad and everyone there is a member and people you never heard of or talked to are trying to help you.
Don't miss out on the fun.
