Seems great all...what would be real nice is to have visable gunners on the b17s..in each position from a standoff point of view..as to see them when your making that gamble of a gunpass on them...


Or..to make it seem that your in fact not alone in a bomb run...when you look back to your right or left..and see"other" pilots in the drones..as they have done in the ju88...


oh yea..and make the flak have more of a intimidating presence...the puffy kind that is....you know..have the plane shake a lil bit when the shells explode around you...oh man i can dream up a storm  
One more thing..lol


Its silly having "pilots" take a base in AH...you are supposed to load parratroopers in a c47 in a capture attempt ..no?

its a lil funny that the fly boys have grabbed hold of that responcabilty...storming map rooms with 45s and suchAh YES!..i see now...

you know what?..the skys the limmit bro..shreck IT...let them give us option to be lil infantrymen as well..with the dynamics of Call of Duty..and equiped with high caliber bolt action rifles..such as the one you posted on that WW2 trivia thread(Very nice BTW  )


Man can you imagine that?..base defence would be a whole diffrent story...having to actualy "run" to your AC as your field is being pumbled by the oposition..or better yet...having the option to be a parra trooper in a c47..when you capture a field...

With all of that in play..having armor and infantry defending the base as you and your platoon of AH paratroopers try and capture the map room..eh?..taking a base no longer a walk in the park  

AND!..the stuka's pea shooters would have some use now....rake the floor when givving close air support to friendlies on the ground


And!!!...in a b17 for example....Having the abilty to have a full crew...A man for every valid postion where there is a man needed..like the real deal...

(will come up with more...hopeless ideas)
Another!.... holes in the fuselodge...its killing me when my plain gets peppered in every spot BESIDES the planes body..


serously...its killing me when flying back from a sortie with a gaping hole in my canopy having took a 20mm in the sholder...and rifle caliber rounds in every place BUT!..the fuselodge

understood.. but still.. you have a fighter based sim...with the objective being to capture bases...somthing a group of fighters alone couldnt manage by them selfs..well in RL...

youre right though.. one can only imagine at this point bro..

as for the future?? who knows...

possibly a much needed spark to the fuel for that fire to burn.

It was actually something that was discussed by HTC as an eventual addition to AH.   Eventually it sort of fell through the cracks though as other items took priority.

I think it would take alot more people than in the AH community to use infantrymen to capture fields. it would take anywhere from 10 to 50 guys to take a field depending upon its defenses. If you have tanks helping that reduces the number as long as VH is down. Then how would you capture the field? climb the stairs on the tower and get in the tower?

Plus there are people wanting to fly, bomb, etc. Would take lots of organization. I cant see it happening soon... maybe by the time AH4 comes out:aok

I also thought of it as you did raptor....IF the organization factor improves with the advent of Tour of Duty... possibilty of this happening before AH4..:aok

But still..there isnt enough people willing to organize in such a way...Had there been so...It would be a hell of alot of fun....dont you think..??

True, was talk of submarines, artillery and alot of other stuff that you can find if you google for an interview with HT that was done a year or more ago. Don't remember the spesifics and i may have mixed it up with bbs talk.  Subs would be nice tho.

Subs was a big topic a while back. I heard much talk and people commenting on it. No one came up with a "worthwhile" solution on running them. Some debated using them like task fleets (with waypoints), or making single individual mini-subs that deployed like PT boats from a CV group. I don't think the individual mini-sub idea ever made it to HT. Until someone creates a way of implementing subs into AH. *All eyes on HTC* J/K.

also in additon to all of this...seperate bomb sight control option...have some one use the norton bomb sight while some one guns...another pilots..that sort of thing...to make the variety in what people speacialize in very diverse...good bombers..good bomber pilots...good gunners..ect
