I am not complaining but... this isn't....
« on: January 01, 2001, 11:29:00 AM »
I come on at around 10 AM EST, bish have reset and we are getting raped.

Our whole team is insitent on attacking a14, and while they are, the 65 knights come and take most of our bases. How are 30 of us Bish supposed to fight 60 knits?  THey are just raping us. This isn't fun, and I think something needs to be done about teams.

I pay 30 bucks for this game, and I don't like getting raped and vulched all the time by the team with higher numbers.

If you want to be on the winning side right now -- then change the team.

If you have patience -- wait. Dominent countries switched many times in AH history.

And right now -- Enjoy fighting against the odds, it is the most thrilling expirience what you may have. With correct team playing 1/2 can defend very successfully.

And with a 2 sided war, when one side gets bigger than the other and starts winning, then what?  Will you want a one sided war?
Everyone fights drones?

There is not perfect answer, in wb we had 4 sides, and very often we saw big imbalances.
The current 3 sided system is a big improvement, and seems to me to be closer to balanced in numbers than anything I have seen before.

Often, short sided people complain that in AH, their side is getting attacked by the other 2 countrys. Guess what?  That is the same for the other 2 countrys too!  All three countrys are continually fighting a 2 sided war.  This prevents the game from deteriorating into one big furball.

Its not perfect, but it aint broke either.

Relax man, relish the fact you have all of your country in the same place working on the same thing when you're down to 2 bases.  It doesn't happen often.

Correct Dago   100%  correct.  I just posted a reply very similar to your, in another topic.   These guys wishing for 2 sides have no idea how bad it would get.

Hi
Please don't misunderstand me now.
It seems to me that some people right after being vulched all the time or to see there is only a few players on the same side, or trying to survive an attack of 5 cons etc, come right after such an experience in this BBS and whine it out.
Maybe to take a little break would not harm, to cool down a bit, sleep it over. And then if he thinks it's really needed to be posted here, then ok, do it.
This is my opinion. Maybe I'm wrong, but I know this from my personal experience ,to cool down is one of the best ways to avoid stupid comments and misunderstandings.

That's me point Wegaman.  If you step back and realize for a moment that it's no big deal, you're going to have more bases either through a reset or by getting them back, then you can truly enjoy having your back against the wall.

If you end up getting reset or don't, who really cares, but I love to log on and see us with two bases, I have much more fun than normal.

People who keep advocating two sides never really think it through.

Trust me..things would be a LOT worse.

As everyone now knows, No. 272 squadron just came to bishop for january.  I was very surprised to see 90 knights online, + equal amount of rooks, (err by equal amount i mean about the same amount as bishop had online )and both fighting bishops!

BUT hey, I like a challenge, and about 3 hrs later, turns out they didnt quite kick our butt after all

<S> to all!

We had a brutal fight.. attrition was horrendous. We were outnumbered; outmanuvered, outgunned everywhere.

Refreshing.

Wega you have to expect some payback for the last month when the bishops drove ostis and raped the knit land.  It is your turn to have a toejam sandwich.
