HT,

i think the trees are being a big fps hog to planes in the air, like the sheep fields were in AH1. aynway to cut tree graphics down or out when planes say go above 5k?  i know when im over
a huge grove of trees my fps takes big hit.

I was having performance hell, until I tinkered with the ground view distance slider.  Apparently that's the biggest performance limiter.  Once I changed that, I could actually run at 1024 skins and higher detail.

Shift - F2 automatically eliminates ground clutter above a certain altitude already.

But it also limits GV spotting at the same time.
