WOW...that was very cool indeed. It was also as telling as it was cool.
First let me say Great Work.
A few thoughts/findings.
#1 The film is a tad out of focus for me...It is noticeable in Full Screen mode as well as in Normal view mode. Not greatly...just enough to be kind of annoying. Maybe a setting on my end will change it. I will mess around with it a bit. I did change the res on my monitor a few times. But i will check a few more things out.
#2 I was expecting to see the Gear Raising Sequence of the F4U after clearing the deck of the Flat Top. In the transition from the takeoff clip to the climb out clip the gear rising was lost i guess?
#3 The music selection could be re-considered.
While i have no problem with it personally, < 43 year old Musician that appreciates almost any style of music>the selection might be a little.....well lets just say that it only appeals to a select group of people. There are OLD PPL that play AH2 too!

You might consider something that will appeal to a larger audience. Of course i am looking at it from the marketing standpoint.
Now for the part that was telling of AH2.
#1 the tires on every plane on the runway are submerged into the concrete nearly to the rim.
#2 the damage model/sequence of AH2 is revealed here, and i might say...it is lacking. One example is the damage taken by the P51 i think it was. The hit sprites are the same size/amplitude no matter where the hits are recorded. Also when the left wing fuel tank is obviously hit there is no explosion/plum/or any defining sequence that differentiates a hit producing a hole in the plane vs a hit that destroys the fuel tank. Just looks cheesy to me. Ever see the fuel tank damage sequence of other ww11 sims?
There is one sim that has a very cool fuel tank damage model. When a wing tank is hit it usually has a small plum of flames and smoke and an audible explosion sound followed by the wing bursting into flames and slowly burning off the plane till it finally separates/melts off the plane followed by the plane spinning to the ground. And a nice little explosion is audible when the plane strikes the ground too. Now this is true emersion and adds to the joy of a game.
It just seems a little less than i was expecting in relation to other Sims i have played recently. Cant wait for the next film. Overall it was very cool. Thanks for sharing. Salute
