The most efficient way to bomb a base involves hitting the ground immediatly after your bombs hit, saving the long trip back to base.
Even with divebombing buffs 'fixed' it just means using stuff not bound to those rules. (A-20 anyone? 4000lbs of bombs...) If you're going to stop suicide buffs, you might as well do the jabos as well.
Perk the 500/1000lb bombs and the rockets.(Excepting the bomber class planes, excepting the a-20g) i.e. Loading 1000lb bombs turns your plane into a low-cost perk plane.
Reduce the hardness on structures.
Now the primary bombs used are smaller 250lb bombs. The light bombers now have a role in the MA(Free heavy bombs)

(the original idea, bit outdated now though)

nice ideas there...the perk the big bombs for fighters is good too....well kinda. Perk the bombs, if they land after there jabo run, they dont lose the perks right?
but what if they DONT sucide but get shot down before, on, or after there jabo run?
too many what ifs
the way it is now, the towns are so big, that the low number side (or any side during euro prime time) just doesnt have enough numbers to take a base, while defend others, it forces people to do low level attacks in bombers SIMPLY because it takes to long to get high. All the fighter guys at the base waiting for the bombers to climb to 10k (min i like to bomb at) kinda not fun, so, most people (generaly fighter guys who dont know how to bomb) just take a lanc up, and fly in a 2k (if that).
on the subject of bombs, anyone notice that the blast radius on bombs (1000lbs more so) is far too weak in AHII? a 1000lb bomb landing next to my house would knock it over (let allone a small tank) yet in AHII they dont seem to do much. The amount of times ive seen bombs land within about 5 feet of a city building, and the building not die..........arrg
