There are two new options in the video setup screen of Aces high II 68D (press the "Video" button on the clipboard immediately after the clipboard stops moving).  One option allows all the textures to be loaded to system ram, and the other is for loading all the textures to video ram.

If you have 256MB of video ram and set the maximum texture size to 256 or 512 (maybe), then exit the game and restart, the option for loading to video ram should be available.

If you have 512MB of system ram, or more, you should be able to use the option to load the textures to system ram.

It would not be wise to check both options.

ok skuzzy took your advise along with some from other players while in the game and i loaded 512mb into my system ram, the option for video is only there if you load 128mb. My frame rates didnt really increase or drop looking to the front but looking up im at like 200's to the front ahh well 30's 40's but to my understanding now this patch wasnt intended to increase frame rates its to stop the studdering thing so im gonna now try to find a furball and see if its better now..

p.s. heres my system spec's if you should have anymore insight into how i can tweek my settings to get the most out of my hardware.

emachines t2482
windows xp home edition
amd athlon xp 2400+ 1.99ghz
756mb ram
radeon 9200 128mb ddr

my video card settings in windows are maxed out to performance
and in ah2 my video settings are about 75% more to performance, any more and i have trouble seeing ground strats
