I've been smelling smoke for the last week and I"m sick of it.  WTF

It may seem as if there are a lot of fires in the US mainland, but 83% of what has burned in the US has burned in Alaska.

California should break off into the Pacific and sink.

Really starting to heat up here in Texas. Mid 90's - low 70's  forecast for all of next week. The smoke from the BBQ has been really heavy the last few days as well.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

That sucks, Gunslinger, but just remember that Oregon is much worse.  Hot as hell, and fires all the time, and rain - oh man does it rain and rain and RAIN.  If you need to move, move east...or maybe to Washington, yeah, Washington is great!

Gunslinger is right..

Everyone needs to leave California as soon as possible. It is a horrible place. I hear Oregon is nice though.

Solid high eighties temperature and humidity here for at least a month.  My water bill was almost $300 last month because we haven't had any rain (every house collects its own water which is caught from rain on the roofs and fed into a tank underneath the house).

No let-up in sight.

Gonna have to do a "Rain Dance" soon.
