I can tell by the way you guys talk that you havnt played WWII
in quite some time been playing it for over a month now without a hitch better graphics better sound better modeling the trees look like trees can you believe that?they even blow with the wind. The tanks and planes look so much better then here it isnt funny so you little ones keep playing this atari beta test game and have fun
The night time hack? you mean when its gets dark you just turn up the contrast and brightness just like i did when it got dark in AH1

You guys can be some real jerks man, let him say goodbye without being arses. LTAR will be missed by at least one player, and if they are smart, LTAR will certainly be missed by the knights who have seen countless occasions of LTAR holding thier ground against hoardes. You guys seem to live under the illusion that everybody on AH plays just to fly around in hoardes and furball for your pleasure. The reason there are ground vehicles in the game, oh ignorant ones, is becuase some people enjoy them.

And to answer Mr Smartprettythang'S remark:

Enjoy

I don't think anyone has stated that WWII Online is "bug free"  as if AH1 or AH2 is?
AH has a perfect track record? No bugs in AH?
You need to read thru the "bug reports" section on BBS my friend.

I'll tell ya one thing tho, for all you guys that did the system upgrades that HTC recommended,  you can certainly put it to good use in WWII Online. You'll be rewarded with beautiful terrain and models. Unlike the the Quake1 graphics you find here just like any other DirectX6 game:rolleyes:

Oh BTW,  watch this then try tellin everyone how lame it looks or runs.

That certainly looks A LOT better than it did at the time I played it. WW2OL will always have a bad reputation, because there are so many people having so many bad experiences with it. Me included, I bought the game only to find out I couldn't connect to the server even, and after downloading what seemed like hundreds of patches, bug fixes and so on, it still wouldn't work. About two years later I gave it another try but the graphics just didn't appeal to me nor the gameplay.

They'd probably be better off making a whole new version of it rather than just patching the old one, to get rid of all the bad rumors and bad memories connected to the old, and it is OLD, game.

WWIIOL is ok....but what annoys me is the terrible netcode, players/tanks/planes move from A to D without doing smooth movements through B and C, instead they just teleport around. Its as if im playing CS/DOD/HLDM with a 9600baud modem......IMPOSSIBLE

during the day when theres no one on, its ok, because you dont see it happening....mainly because you dont see anyone lol :(

Perfectly good argument, never said it was perfect.

33Vortex states:
"They'd probably be better off making a whole new version of it rather than just patching the old one, to get rid of all the bad rumors and bad memories connected to the old, and it is OLD, game"

Ok, I'd maybe agree with that, but if ANYONE needs to ditch a graphics & game engine for something more up to date I can give you a hint on who it should be!
And AH is somewhat new????  DirectX6 graphics, stale redundant gameplay and people constantly b1tching about LA7's, P51's, N1k's & Spits.  OH, and did I leave out the "Rook" hordes

I would agree when WWII Online first launched, it was a disaster and a complete let-down, I threw my CD out the window!
It has come a long way {IMO} I have not noticed any significant issues pertaining to "lag" though. Will keep looking.

Overlag, I'll be the first to agree that's odd.
But there is a whole group of us playing and we don't have things/people disappearing?

Maybe link up with us sometime and we'll do some missions, maybe it's a setting?  Just like HTC tells everyone in here! "It's always a setting on the players end"  Go figure:rolleyes:
