Excellent to see native TrackIR support in the latest patch.  However, I can only get left & right viewing, not up & down.  Any ideas?

EDIT:  This problem is now sorted.

I'm also wondering if the note on patch 7 about getting the "latest" driver from NaturalPoint was the 3.11 on their site right now (8/1/04) or some new one coming up HT knows about...

Moochie, what did u do to fix this, as i have the same problem. cannot look directly up, only about 45 degrees.

I think HTC means a new Natural Point driver will come out soon. probably be version 3.12

AFAIK 45 up is it for now.  The normal views still work in Pan so I just use the straight up view mapped to my sticks pinky button.

It will require a new driver from NaturalPoint to get full view motion.

With TIR I am able to pan including any head positions I have set with TIR disabled. However if I have say different 'zoom' and side move (up/down/left/right cursor) settings on different views it jerks from one view setting to the next as I pan.

Is there anyway of 'smoothing' these transitions?

Or, coming from a different standpoint, if I set all views to 'Home' to get smooth all-round viewing I get pretty limited views, like mostly the seat back in 'rear' look (as far 'rear' as I can pan that is).

Is there another way to adjust this for TIR?

Also, with TIR on I can still get my HAT views but without those head-position settings that exist if I disable TIR.

Is there any way around that?

Same to me. Only 45 up is working. But with "Up view" button, mapped on stick I have all possible views.

BTW, I install latest driver from Naturalpoint - NaturalPoint_trackIR_3_11.

Follow Bustr's and Hitech's suggestions in this thread and you will have full funtionality.  Use the 3 value and you can see straight up, also.  Be careful in Regedit and backup first.  If you aren't comfortable in Regedit, you may want to wait for the TIR update coming very soon.
