Republicans... Life as you knew it is over.

I just witnessed a guy become President months before an election even took place.

Do not, however, despair for a moment..

Because it's about to get a lot better.

My heartfelt to a nation that produces such men. You oughta be proud and for this reason you are indeed, the envy of the rest of the world.

Then I suppose you ought to post this on a Democrat-only BBS. Just a suggestion.

And why is that? I'm interested in the opinions of the Kerry supporters that post here on this BBS.

I think he means if you post that question here, you'll get replies from both sides of the isle.

How uncouth, eh?

I know this is a predominately Republican/conservative BBS. Because there are those that aren't, I was hoping to see specifics that Kerry's speech alluded to by the vague "Hope is on the way!" Because we have a very outspoken conservative majority, I didn't want the responses from the proKerry side buried, hence my request.
If Bush utters an equally vague "quote" I'll ask the same here of the Bush supporters.
I wonder if Kieran will pipe in with my posting to a Republican only BBS comment. I doubt it ;)

>>I make up my own mind.<<

You are the 15% it was directed to. I have no doubt George Bush will also direct his speech to you and both hope you decide in their favor. They really aren't worried about the people who are staunch Republicans or staunch Democrats. They have them or they don't - period. They are weight, cattle, - sheeeep! They are interested in those seriously considering the election.

Personaly, I can't wait for the debates.

I would certainly tell you the same thing if you asked people on a public BBS to refrain from responding after you posted the question on an open forum- if I happened to be here reading, which I am not very often. Toad is right, if you post on such a hot topic on the public forum, no way will one side or the other stay out.

I guess let me do it pre-emptively: If you want conservative-only responses to your Bush speech thread, post it on a republican-only BBS. There, that takes care of it in case I am not around. :)
