Institutional behaviors?  And that's attributed to a chess piece... um, no.  No chess piece or country has any attributes "stained" to itself after 55 tours.

Rotate all Bish to Rook, Rook to Knit, Knit to Bish.  Any change besides a name?

Thanks for agreeing with me.   You're thinking way too hard Zazen :)

You could call the teams apples, pears, and grapes, but it wouldn't change the fact that each team will attract and retain likeminded individuals. I played AW for a LONG time, there were Az, Bz, and Cz. Curiously, the exact same thing happened across 10 different arenas. Each team on each server quickly identified themselves with a general methodology and approach to the game. It's just simple human nature and it happens fairly quickly.

You could change the names of the countries, give us all new handles prohibiting us from divulging our old ones, shake us all up and spit us out randomly. But, give us the freedom of choice of movemement from one country to another just like we enjoy now. I guarentee you, within 6 months, we'd be exactly where we are now, and if you suddenly gave us our original handles back you would find 95% of us gravitated back to the same group of people.

If I 'had a beer with' most Bish, I'd be hauled off by the coppers for contributing to the delinquency of a minor....

Define most?  75% or higher?

If that wasn't a failed attempt at humor, I'll ask ya to back up that assertion.  It's highly unlikely, if not impossible, that you can.

heh, this isn't gonna go anywhere.  I digress...  what do I know?  I simply shut up and FLY.

Guess Zazen starting to  campaign for Rook president...
Figured it was only a matter of time before politics reared it's ugly head in another forum beside OT.

I have no desire to be the President of anything, I'm just explaining human psychology and basic human nature as it applies to our closed system of AH demographics. It's not political, it's reality.

Effective immediately, all AH subscribers will be required to move to Central U.S. time zone and work during the designated hours authorized by The Peoples Aces High Workers Party.

Game play will commence only at officially sanctioned times as prescribed by the Leadership Committee of The Peoples Aces High Workers Party.

All chess piece affiliation will be immediately assigned by the party and loyal party members will assimilate into their chess piece collective.

Party members will abide by this affiliation until assigned differently by the Leadership Committee, or until their demise, upon which their offspring will be assigned to fulfill their obligation to the party by singing the glories of their chess piece manifesto.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and good night.

Party Chairman

LOL Well if you have a beer with this Bish you wouldn`t have to worry about the "minor" thingy by a long, long shot, but by Gawd Margaret you would be the one to buy. :D
I also agree with the country loyalty thing by a squad. I would sure hate to see people be forced to change countries if they have been playing for a while and are settled in on a country. I don`t think that is the problem though anyway. I beleive the newer player sees the opportunity to get on the steam roller band wagon and takes it. Of course there is also some of the more seasoned players who have no ties or bonds to any particualr country and will switch faster than Oprah`s weight change also, but this is not the norm.
I`m not sure what would be a feasible cure for this situation.
I thought this might generate some thought and actual discussion of ideas from others, but as usual it has turned into mud pie day at Happy Town.
Zaz, hand me a beer.

oh geez, yet another thread with this elitest [sarcasm]I played AW for 25 years with all my friends and us cool elitest cant help it we attract so many like minded players to our country[/sarcasm] crap in it.  As if there is an exclusive monopoly of online flight sim veterans in a particular country.  Get over yourself.  Or at least go pump your ego in private.
