Okay, watching this movie again, I'd say it's one of the most entertaining and creative movies of all time.

The only thing that I question: why would machines allow the humans plugged into the matrix  have a "reality" at all? Why not just make them be "thoughtless" or in a coma?

The concept of the movie was pretty impressive to me....very high on the "cool" factor.

Pick up the pipe Skull.

Nuke I thought the same thing.  They leave themselves without total control.  It's almost as if the machines wanted an anomaly, neo, to occur.

It was a cool movie, but the concept is flawed. But we are talking entertainment here. I enjoyed the movie.

I thaught the ending sucked.  To much build up for bad finish.  

When neo made the machines die outside the matrix that's when it just started getting hoaky to me.

Fun movie, Nuke.  The answer to your question is this:  Had book been written so that humans had no reality, there would have been no movie to make. :)

Organs not used deteriorate.

If i'm not mistaken, brain sygnals carry an electrical current of sorts and stimulating brain would cause current to occur. No strimulation - deterioration of the body, loss of power.
