accused of cheating by a cheat...
« on: June 12, 2001, 07:45:00 PM »
was criticized by Ripsnort on private channel for taking a bish cv far from the action because its port had been retaken by the knights.

he explained that he used his other account Geeman to overcome HTC's strat design.

turns out he sends his Geeman account to bishop side to find the CV then keeps his team the knights updated on the cv position while flying for knights as RIPSNORT.

is this not blatant cheating?
Fester was my in game name until September 2013

Cit what you did was childish (And dweebish too).
Earlier today after when Bish reset map knights were wondering where are our another fleet.
I typed .move 41 and whooplaa I was in a cv's deck 30 miles out of map, East of Bish main-island.

Next time you guys should sail it about 250 miles farther Off-Map.

Sounds like cheating to me.  Not the first time he's done it.  He mentions doing it in a previous post.

Yeah.. that's almost as bad as when they formed a giant formation of B-17s and flew them half way across the map unopposed almost the entire way just to sink the CV.  Just downright dispicable.

The point is quite simple.  You should not have multiple accounts used for the purposes of seeing information that is country specific.  While it may be impractical for HT to police this sort of dweebery, the offending party should be chastized publicly, and called what they are, a cheater.  I think this thread has achieved that.

Its not a matter of great import, its not somthing to get worked up over too much, but if you have any affection for AH, you will discourage cheating in all its forms.

If I could afford it I'd have 3 accounts,
just so I could take a shot at Rude.

IHHO all those that would have multiple accounts so they could cheat are...

Sad, very sad that you have that little self respect for yourself that you must cheat at a computer game.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

Salute Gents,

Seems to me that criticizing someone for cheating in order to undo YOUR cheating is a bit hypocitical.  You cheated, he cheated in response to it.  Who has the moral high ground?  I have to believe that Rip did so in response to the fact that our CV was not returned on reset.  I also believe that having your OWN spies is the only reasonable response to having enemy spies amongst you.  I have upped in a bomber heading to a target and announced my intentions to someone on country channel when asked.  Next thing I know <pouf> 5-10 cons up where I was just about to go bomb.  It has happened too many times and at too many diverse targets to be a coincidence.  They cannot see me over friendly fields on their dot dar, how did they know?  SPIES!  I have always believed in poetic justice.  I.E. Giving the bastahds a taste of their own medicine.  Or in the imortal words of Roy Boehm "F the sweet F-ers".  Don't like the solution?  Try not being part of the problem.

Yep, Geeman likes to fly bish (think safety in numbers)...I can't help it that his monitor sits behind me, but I must say, when we logged in, and he said "Daddy, why is that CV way down in the corner?"...I was furious!  So, I set out to return the 'hidden CV'.  As we approached, I turned back around, and see Cita directing the CV further south off the map, so I accused him of 'gaming the game'(of course, he denies it) and if he plans to be a trainer, maybe that's not a good idea...

Call it cheating if you like, I could have switched countries and got the same results...no matter to me.

You should learn to tell the truth more often Cita    ;) I think you're just pissed because I caught you in a lie...if I had been there next to you, I'da sent you to your room!
