Well my first 2 sorties after the update ended with me collliding with someone. :D

Collisions are always better on than off though i'm afraid.   Otherwise there will be very unrealistic merges between fighters and attacks on buffs.

However, i'm not entirely sure i did hit the 2 planes i collided with.  At the time i thought i had cleared them.  I'm going to film  all of my sorties to hopefully capture a collision to check.

In AH1 I was the ultimate collision recipiant.  When AH2 was first released, had maybe 2.  Had 3 last night, so nah I don't like it.

If collisions worked Iwould be all for them, but the current implementation isn't working very well.   Surprised HT let it get released in this state actually.

Suffered 3 collisions last night.
1 was my own fault and the other two were caused when both of us zigged when we should have zagged.

So far untill I see otherwise I think its the best job they have done yet.

HATE it.

I'm all for a collision model, but the current one in place flying CLOSE to an nme = collision.  I have 3 films now and on all three there is plenty o' seperation and I get damaged.

Is there a collision bubble????

Whatever it is, please adjust/tweak it.  Alot of my flying style is to make nme's JUST overshoot me, and instead i'm getin' rammed ( and they missing by a good 50feet)

I suffered a collision last night with a wingless fighter, which was at least 50 feet distant.

Later, I was accused of ramming a guy even though we passed with plenty of seperation on my FE.

The collision model is whacked... Reinstate the bug that eliminated most collisions as it was the only beneficial bug I've ever seen.

Any situation where the connection quality or lack thereof dictates which, if either aircraft, receives damage is untenable and clearly puts some players at a disadvantage they have no control of.

Turn off collisions until a workable solution is devised.

Does seem to be a pretty big colision bubble.  Got in a few last night; one was a definate hit, a couple seemed to be marginal.

Like the gunnery it will take a bit of getting used to, but once we figure out where the edges are it should be fine.  HT may want to tweak it, they may not; hopefully it'll encourage people to find merge strategy that doesn't involve HO attacks.  In a perfect world the $GANGBANG pilots won't be able to send up their massed La7 HO corps  :D

Having the same problem here and a have  some film  - cleary missed the other plane and lost a wing.

Not the first time  - started filming as well  to see if I was imagining it.

If the La-7 guy has a slightly faster connection than yours, you will still suffer collisions, while the La-7 takes no damage....

Until an equitable solution is devised that hands out damage to both planes, turn off collisions altogether.
